Bathtub Installation/Replacement

We have been doing plumbing work for a long time, and in that time we have found an approach to different constructions. After all, the way we work differs depending on the material the bathtub is made of.

Here, the work consists of several steps that must be completed in sequence.

Floor levelling. This is preparatory work that is best done, as it will not be possible to do this in a fully finished room.
Installing the components. Despite the strength of cast iron, it is better to do all the steps as carefully as possible so as not to damage both the enamel and the floor coating.
Installation of the feet and levelling. The height of the feet can be adjusted. Remember not to install the structure too close to the floor, otherwise it will be very difficult to clean this space. And you won't be able to fill it with things you need to hide from view.
Installation of the bowl, finishing the joints. The bowl is mounted on the feet that are already securely on the floor surface. If the structure is against the wall, this space and the gaps must be sealed to prevent water from seeping through.
